CLAUDIO ANGHELÈ
Claudio graduated from the Nautical School "San Giorgio" of Genoa and has gained a proven experience in the sector. After obtaining the Unrestricted Master Mariner qualification, he rose up to the rank of Master on cargo ships.
After collaborations started in the naval field (ship management, appraisals, consultancy, etc.), in 1974 he founded STB ITALIA together with Captain Giorgio Schiaffino.
From the date of STB’S foundation, Claudio has managed the company with dedication, carrying out assignments around the world on behalf of the most important insurance and shipping companies. Through wise entrepreneurial choices he has managed to make STB grow over the years, by adapting it to the technical and technological changes that have transformed the vast shipping sector over the decades. He supervises making sure the principles and working methodology are consistent and up to STB’s high standards, and offers his experience for consultancy in particular and complex assignments.

MAURO MORTOLA
Mauro graduated from the Nautical School "Cristoforo Colombo" in Camogli, Italy. Machinists and Graduated in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering. He was technical inspector of oil tankers and chemical tankers in the technical office of shipping companies and designer of cargo systems for chemical tankers and oil tankers as well as systems for propulsion equipment. He oversaw the construction of merchant ships in Italy and abroad, was the technical director of the construction yard for vessel up to 3.000 GT, and president of a merchant ship management company.
He joined the STB staff in 2001, dealing with the design and supervision of pleasure craft and merchant vessel construction, complex claims, and civil liability for leading insurance companies, litigation, appraisals and purchase, consultancy in the forensic field, and assistance to shipowners and shipyards. Furthermore, he is an inspector for the Technical Body for pleasure boats.
Excellent knowledge of the main technical drawing programs (Autocad, Rinocheros) and hull modeling (Maxsurf-Bentley).
ANDREA SCOLARI
Andrea graduated from the Nautical School "Cristoforo Colombo" in Camogli and sailed for many years on merchant and cruise ships, and, in 1989 acquired the Unrestricted Master Mariner qualification. He joined the STB staff in 1998 and over the years matured a rich experience in insurance and port matters. He is currently the contact person for the port sector and loss prevention, continuing to deal also with the nautical sector.

CORRADO ANGHELÈ
Corrado graduated from the Nautical School "Cristoforo Colombo" in Camogli, Italy. He obtained the Official Complementary Pupil qualification from the Naval Academy of Livorno and has sailed on commercial and pleasure boats. He joined the STB staff in 1997, and he deals with the commercial sector of the company, manages the Porto Cervo office, and offers consultancy for the management and construction of boats and pleasure boats.

LUCA ZARATIN
Luca graduated in Law from the University of Genoa with a thesis on Marine Pollution by Hydrocarbons. After completing his forensic practice in the maritime sector, he worked in Spain as a maritime expert and P&I correspondent, while obtaining a Master in Shipping Business at the UPC (Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya) of Barcelona. He joined the STB staff in 2007. After having gained experience in boat accidents and port activities, he specializes in the management of complex cargo accidents and in particular in the breakdowns and damage from maritime, air and land transport. He also provides insurance consultancy for freight transport and international shipments.

RENATO PIRISINO
Renato graduated in Economics and Commerce from the University of Sassari, with a thesis on the Discipline of Maritime Insurance in Pleasure Boating. During his studies he worked onboard pleasure boats and collaborated with some shipyards and charter companies. He joined the STB staff at the Porto Cervo (Sardinia) office in 2014, specializing in nautical accidents, appraisals, and boat condition. He also provides assistance for freight claims in Sardinia.
RICCARDO GIOVALE
Riccardo graduated in Economics of Maritime Companies, Logistics and Transports, with a thesis on Air and Noise Pollution on Port Areas and Shipbuilding. He joined the STB staff in 2015, specializing in the handling and lashing of goods onboard ships and in yacht loading / unloading operations. He has continued to increase experience in insurance and pleasure boating, with particular attention to civil liability claims.
PIERMARIA TREBIANI
Piermaria graduated as an Aspirant Commander of Merchant Ships at the Nautical School “Cristoforo Colombo” in Camogli, Italy, and has sailed for many years with the qualification of Third Deck Officer.
He joined the STB staff in 2019. Supported by the most experienced members of the team, he deals with boat appraisals, nautical accidents and port activity for loading/unloading of the yachts.
TITTI TOZZO
Titti graduated in Languages at the European School Institute in Genoa and did a traineeship in the nautical sector at naval technical studios.
She joined the STB staff in 1977, a few years after its establishment. Following the experience gained within the company, she supervises the various business processes by managing the accounting and administration of the company.
FEDERICA FOSSATI
Federica graduated in Accounting from the ITCS C. Rosselli in Genoa, and entered the workforce immediately after her studies as an office clerk and secretary.
She joined the STB staff in 2017, dealing with back office and assignment management activities, through the use of commonly used management programs.
